Friendship Baptist Church Staff Brian Robertson – Pastor
I joined the family at Friendship Baptist Church in Grenada, MS in November 2013. In the short time we have been together, we have witnessed God do some incredible things through His people. I have found Friendship to be a loving and welcoming church to all who come. Previously, I served at First Baptist Church, Kenton, TN from February 2010 until my call to Friendship.  Prior to Kenton, I served as pastor in several Texas churches during seminary studies. I finished my Master’s of Divinity (MDivBL) at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2004 and my Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Evangelism in 2010. I am married to the most beautiful woman in the world, Anne, and we have two children (Emilie and Braden). More than anything else, I want to see people saved and growing in and through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ! Paul says, “Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved” (Rom 10:1). As a Christian and pastor, my heart’s desire is that all people would come to know my Jesus as He is the only “way, truth, and the life” (John 14:6) to the Father. I believe that “whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” (Rom 10:13).

Friendship Baptist Church is not a perfect church, and we are not a perfect people. However, we do serve a perfectly risen Savior and Lord! If you are searching for a church home where you may serve the Lord and grow spiritually through His Word, then pray about joining us at Friendship. We would love to welcome you to our family!!!
